What type of information we have
We currently collect and process the following information:
YOGA STUDENTS
Name, email address, telephone number, date of birth, hometown, relevant medical conditions & corresponding medication as well as the name and contact number of a designated relative or friend. In addition, you will be asked a series of basic health and safety questions which you can elaborate upon if you wish.
SUBSCRIBERS
Name & email address.
How we get the information & why we have it
We collect minimal personal information about you when you choose to register online via the BookWhen booking system to attend a class. Under the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are: your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time by contacting us via any of the methods listed at the top of this page or via the ‘unsubscribe’ links found at the bottom of our emails.
What we do with the information
The personal information for yoga students is collected via a simple questionnaire. The questionnaire is designed to keep us fully informed and to make sure the recommended exercise is suitable for you. The questionnaire seeks to identify people who need a doctor's advice before embarking on their chosen activity. As well as this, email addresses are collected to ensure you remain up to date with class and business information relevant to you - for example if a class is cancelled.
The personal information for email newsletter subscribers is collected via form submission on the UNfold website - you can choose to opt out of this if you wish at any time by emailing hello@unfold-life.co.uk or clicking the unsubscribe link in the email. The personal information collected is solely used for the reasons listed above and will not be shared with any individual or third party outside UNfold.
How we store your information
Personal information, such as yoga student questionnaires, is held securely online during your time as a customer of UNfold. Should you cease to be a client of UNfold, yoga student questionnaires are retained for 6 years after which they are destroyed.
We use Mailchimp as our newsletter platform. Subscriber personal information is transferred to Mailchimp for processing. You can review Mailchimp’s privacy policy here: https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/
Personal information relating to use of the online booking system, BookWhen, is stored securely by the booking system provider - please go to https://bookwhen.com/privacy to view their privacy statement.
